1. Fold the bandana on the diagonal by bringing the opposite two corners together.

You should end up with a triangle with one long edge that is the diagonal of the fabric.

2. Place the flat edge on or near your hair-line (therefore covering most of the top of your head).

This is a matter of personal preference, so put it where it is comfortable.

3. Tie the two corners together.

They should be at the back of your neck now. A granny knot or square knot will do.

Brush loose hair out of the way of the knot so that it doesn't get stuck.

4. Adjust the location of the bandana.

If you'd like to pull it back a ways, for instance, now is the time. Since the length is right,

you can even pull it forward around your neck and back up to collect any hair that's in your face.

5. If you want, tuck the corners in to avoid wind blowing the tip up and making you look like a bandana bishop.
